Incidents

On March 8, an associate at K-Mart, 1720 S. Center St., reported the theft of merchandise in the amount of $233.82.

Arrests

On March 14, Luis Alberto Garcia, 302 S. 3rd Ave. Apt. #5, was arrested for driving while barred.

On March 14, Sean Noel, 3 N. 9th St., was arrested for theft from vehicles.

Accidents

On March 14, a semi driven by Jake Paul Sinkula, of Kansas City, Mo., was eastbound on Summit Street and attempted to go under a railroad bridge with a clearance of 12 feet, 9 inches with a tractor trailer with a height of 13 feet, 6 inches resulting in the trailer getting stuck and damaged. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Sinkula semi trailer was estimated at $6,000.

Arrests

On March 12, Lindsay Jo Richerodt, of Le Grand, was arrested for two counts of child endangerment, driving under the influence, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and failure to have a valid driver's license.

On March 12, Tracy Nicole Cullor, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #50, was arrested for probation violation.

On March 12, Vanessa Marie Montoya, of Conrad, was arrested for two counts of possession of prescription drugs.

On March 10, Brett Andrew Stalzer, of Haverhill, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense, possession of alcohol under legal age and improper brake light.

On Feb. 28, Athena Nicole Valdez, of Melbourne, was arrested for simple assault.

Accidents

On March 12, a car driven by Delores Ruth Matney, of Gladbrook, was northbound on Wallace Avenue just south of 130th Street when it went out of control on the snow and crossed the center line and collided with a semi driven by Joseph Carl Sternhagen, of Grundy Center, which was traveling south on Wallace Avenue. Matney was transported to a local hospital by family members with possible injuries. Damage to the Matney car was estimated at $8,000 while the Sternhagen semi received an estimated $1,000 in damage.
