Immigrant Allies is hosting national speaker and leadership coach Roberto Carmona at a special reception at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Mexico Antiguo on Main Street in Marshalltown.
Please RSVP by Tuesday and plan to arrive at 6:30 p.m. to order your meal, then enjoy the presentation. This event is free; each guest will be responsible for the cost of his or her own meal.
Carmona will speak on this timely topics: economic development, immigration and leadership challenges in the Midwest, a topic we believe to be of interest to a broad audience in a variety of professional fields.
Carmona specializes in a wide range of issues and has provided business development, client management, executive recruitment services and executive coaching for the public sector, higher education, nonprofit and Fortune 500 clients. He is a well-known speaker with established credibility in the diversity professional networks and his company now serves as the management consulting firm for the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives.
Carmona has spoken at various universities, such as the University of Maryland, Tufts, Texas A&M and Harvard, among others.

At this time, his firm, the Crimson Leadership Group is serving in the function as management association for the NFLHE, as a strategic planning consultant for the Chicago based ENLACE Violence Prevention Collaborative and conducting executive searches for national nonprofit organizations.
