DES MOINES - A trio of Bulldogs are taking their talents elsewhere.

Sophomore Symone Daniels and freshmen Alexis Eckles and Dilonna Johnson have elected to transfer from the Drake women's basketball program announced head coach Jennie Baranczyk Monday.

All three players have requested and been granted releases from their scholarships at Drake.

"I want to thank these three young women for their effort and contributions to our program this season," Baranczyk said. "We wish them the absolute best in their future athletic and academic pursuits."

Daniels, who played in just three games before suffering a season-ending knee injury in her freshman season, saw action in seven games as a sophomore.

Eckles played in 20 games last season and averaged 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. Johnson appeared in 11 games and logged a career-high 22 minutes against Iowa State.
