Dave Wadle and Grant Brintnall both teach Allison Reeder in math. And both speak very highly of the eighth grader at Miller Middle School.

"She's very responsible and asks great questions," Brintnall said. "And she's just a nice person."

Wadle said she is very thorough in her work and doesn't want to miss out on a minute of learning.

Allison Reeder sits in a classroom at Miller Middle School recently.

"She's an active learner from bell to bell," Wadle said.

Reeder, 14, stays busy in dance and track when she's not in the classroom. When she is in the classroom, she takes her learning seriously.

"I just try my hardest in school to get good grades and have a better future," Reeder said.

Reeder also has an interest in photography as she takes many photos of her family.
