A film crew works on a set in Clutier last fall for the film “A Place for Heroes.” The film will have a sneak preview screening Friday night in Traer.

Tickets for the movie showings are $6 at the door, but there may be only a limited amount available.

The movie was filmed entirely in Tama County in August and September and features some legendary Hollywood stars as well as up-and-coming actors. The cast includes Paul Sorvino, Sally Kellerman and Daniel Roebuck. Many of the big names from the coasts are not expected at this screening, but the stars from Iowa are planning to be at the event.

This screening is not called a premiere since the final edited movie is not yet complete.
