A 35-year career in education is winding down for West Marshall Schools Superintendent Ned Sellers. His last day is Friday after leading the school district since 1998.
"It will be a change for me, and I'll be taking a look at lots of opportunities," Sellers said.
The West Marshall community will send off Sellers with a public open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the cafeteria in the middle school in State Center.
"It will be nice to visit with people who have been supportive of me as well as the school district," Sellers said.
Sellers was quick to say this open house will not be a goodbye because he and his wife Ranae will still live in State Center.
"We'll continue to live here, and I'll continue to stay involved in the school," he said.
