Irma Lucille Wulke, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2013. She was born on September 13, 1955 in Aplington, IA. She was raised on a farm near Aplington with her two brothers and two sisters, and attended cosmetology school, opening her own business for a brief time, after graduating from Aplington High School. She eventually graduated from nursing school at Ellsworth and served as a nurse for 30 years while raising her family. Irma enjoyed women's Bible study and served in the Awana program at Center St. Baptist and First Baptist churches. She was a member of Fellowship of The Woodlands.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jenny Schipper. She is survived by her loving husband, David Wulke; children, Scott Krull, Doug Krull and wife Heather and their son Kyler, Brett Wulke and wife Jessica, and Nick Wulke; siblings, Kenneth Schipper and wife Aline, Ester Woodley and husband Vic, Inez Kuester and husband Chuck, and Lester Schipper and wife Caryn.
A visitation will be held from 9am until 10am on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Chapel in the Woods at Fellowship of The Woodlands with the funeral service immediately following at 10am.
