Marshalltown Police are pictured on the possible scene of a shooting near the corner of State and Seventh Streets Tuesday night.

The victim was being treated for injuries at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center Tuesday night and is anticipated to make a full recovery, Tupper said.

Detectives were on scene at the 600 block of West State Street Tuesday night, Tupper said, however officers are still trying to determine where the incident occurred.

"We don't know what we have at this point," Tupper said. "We're trying to piece together what happened."

No suspects were identified at press time and the shooting remains under investigation.
