Police seek help in identifying armed robbery suspect

The Marshalltown Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify an armed robbery suspect.

A man walked into a convenience store with a semi-automatic pistol Sept. 18 and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Employees at Casey's General Store, 1009 Lincoln Way, were preparing to close the store for the evening when the man entered about 10:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 150 pounds. He was dressed in black.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday.

The Marshalltown Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact the police department at 641-754-5725. Callers may remain anonymous.

First-degree robbery, a Class B felony, is punishable up to 25 years imprisonment.
