AMES - For the 14th time in her career, Iowa State libero Kristen Hahn has been honored by the Big 12 Conference.
Hahn was named co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after collecting 21 digs in the 25th ranked Cyclones' three-set win over Baylor on Saturday.
The Cyclone libero shared the honor with Kansas' Caroline Jarmoc.
This was the 14th Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honor for Hahn, who is now all alone in second place in Big 12 volleyball history for career weekly awards.
Hahn passed U.S. Olympian Destinee Hooker's 13 honors and trails only Cyclone legend Ashley Mass, who won 15 Big 12 weekly awards during her career.
Hahn leads the Big 12 and is ninth in the country in digs at 5.56 per set.
The Cyclones resume Big 12 play Wednesday with a trip to Texas Tech. Action from United Spirit Arena begins at 6 p.m.
