Marshalltown Community College freshman forward Juan Carillo has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference's men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, the league announced Tuesday.

Carillo tallied five points - two goals and an assist - during the Tigers' 3-2 overtime victory over Iowa Central last week. It was his second five-point performance in as many matches prior to Saturday's 1-0 loss to top-ranked Iowa Western.

The Cordoba, Spain, native leads the Tigers with nine goals, eight assists and 26 points. He also has four game-winning goals, which leads the team as well.

Carillo's 26 points and four game-winners are tops in the ICCAC.

Marshalltown CC appeared in the national rankings for the third consecutive week as the No. 19 team in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll. The Tigers also received votes in the National Junior College Athletic Association rankings.

MCC is on the road this week, visiting the Scott CC Eagles on Wednesday and Iowa Lakes on Saturday.
