Arlene was born August 12, 1913 in Marshall County to Samuel and Nettie (Thompson) Knudson. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Goodman on December 7, 1938. He preceded her in death April 8, 2003. Arlene was a homemaker and a farmer's wife which meant she worked the farm right alongside Kenneth. She truly loved life on the farm and the freedom that came with it. She was an excellent cook and often made wonderful meals for the men helping in the fields. She was a very spirited woman. She enjoyed playing cards and later in life spending time at the Senior Citizen's Center. She was an inspiration to many, especially in her later years.
She will be missed by her daughter, Jacquline Davis of Germantown, TN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Erma Wehrman and Mildred Keen; her brothers, Louie Knudson and Art Knudson and her son-in-law, Dr. Richard Davis.
Arlene's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Glenwood Place, Monte & Ruth Knudson, Shirley Eash at Comfort Keepers and Eleanor Rutledge.
