Marshalltown High School's Quarterback Club will break until the winter season begins, putting a hold on the Friday luncheon for at least two weeks.

The Quarterback Club gives Bobcat fans the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session with MHS varsity coaches at the Best Western in Marshalltown.

Record-setting Big 12 honor for Hahn

AMES - Iowa State senior libero Kristen Hahn has been named the Big 12 Conference's volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for a record 16th time, the league announced Monday.

Hahn passed former Cyclone libero Ashley Mass to become the most decorated Big 12 volleyball player in terms of weekly honors.

Hahn recorded 35 digs in Iowa State's five-set victory over No. 22-ranked Kansas, and she tallied 16 digs and a career-high four service aces in a win against TCU last weekend.

The Cyclones (12-6, 6-2) now are a part of a three-way tie for second place in the Big 12 standings. ISU hosts Texas Tech (8-16, 1-7) at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Hilton Coliseum. The match will be televised on ESPNU.
