Local Catholic Radio celebrates 10 years

December 20, 2013
Robert Dick, Marshalltown , Times-Republican

Ten years ago, on Dec. 23, a small group of people gathered to celebrate a special event. After a prayer, they flipped a switch and Catholic Radio of Marshalltown went on the air. On this 10-year anniversary of its founding, the directors of KCRM-lp 96.7 FM, want to thank all who have helped the station bring the good news to the Marshalltown area. From all those who helped the station get started with their cash donations, to our corporate sponsors who underwrite our ongoing expenses, the many volunteers who help with day-to-day operations, those who have helped with their engineering and technical expertise, those who send us donations, and to our many listeners, we say thank you. A special thank you to Lew Miller who helped us get started with office space and his building to mount our antenna. We thank God for all of you and ask him to bless all of you.
