Patient, mercifull and kind, Steve was more than simply a friend to many. He was a father figure, mentor and guide.

His smile was his own; it was that smile that would light up a room; a smile which told you without words that he loved you completely unreserved and for who you are.

The pain of loss surely will fade in time and be replaced with the fondness of all the great memories his life has given us. He was a man who was loved by so many who will always be remembered in all of our hearts.

Steve will be missed by his wife, Eui, a daughter, Susan Gomez of Omaha, NE, a son, Christopher Bennett of Marshalltown, three grandchildren; Mackaylie, Mariah and Cassandra Sponseller, a brother, Charles (Cindy) Bennett of Marshalltown, four sisters; Karen (Mot) Fuller, Wheatland, WY, Florence (Gary) Dezell of Big Lake, MN, April (Don) Crow of Casper, WY and Kim (Wes) Walters of Woodland Park, CO.
