The Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library will hold its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 15 and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 16.
The sale will take place in the Community Meeting Rooms of the Library, 105 W. Boone St. Admission is free both days. All books will sell for $1 a bag on Sunday.
Books for all ages and interests will be available, including best sellers, paperbacks, children's books and adult fiction and non-fiction. All proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new materials for the library.

The library will accept donations for the sale during library hours the week of Feb. 10. As usual, textbooks, encyclopedias, Readers' Digest Condensed Books and books in obvious bad condition cannot be accepted. Volunteers are needed to help set up for the sale on Feb. 14.
