DES MOINES - Bulldog sophomores Robert Puleikis and Daddy Ugbede have elected to transfer from the Drake University's basketball program, head coach Ray Giacoletti announced Monday.

"I thank both Rob and Daddy for their contributions to our program," Giacoletti said. "We wish them the absolute best in their future both on and off the court as they pursue new opportunities."

Ugbede, who came to Drake from Gardena, Calif., played in 27 games in 2013-14 and averaged 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, while showing some potential against two of the Missouri Valley's best. He scored a career-high 14 points in 17 minutes at Wichita State in February. As a freshman, Ugbede scored 12 points in 19 minutes in the Bulldogs' upset of Creighton in January 2013 before suffering a season-ending hand injury.

Puleikis, a native of Lithuania, saw action in seven games and scored eight points.
