Winning 21 of 24 sets, Fort Dodge rolled past the Marshalltown girls tennis team for a 10-1 victory here Monday.
Kathleen Ferrin posted the Bobcats' only victory with a 2-6, 7-5, (11-9) triumph at No. 4 singles as the Dodgers claimed the other five singles matches in straight sets.
Ellen Podhajsky and Immaculate Edwin also won a set for Marshalltown but came up short at No. 5 doubles as Taylor Shirbroun and Emma Bruen came back for a 2-6, 6-1, (10-6) victory.
Ashley Beaty picked up six games in a 6-2, 6-4 loss to Ayenna Cagaanan at No. 3 singles, while Beaty and Kathleen Ferrin did the same in a 6-3, 6-3 setback at No. 2 doubles. The Bobcats' No. 5 duo of Jenna Jaeckel and Samantha Tocheri took five games in a 6-2, 6-3 loss as Fort Dodge didn't surrender more than two games total in any of the other six matches.
