Five days after the Iowa Girls State Soccer Tournament came to a close, three area preps each collected one last award.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck junior forward Nicole Adair was named a Class 1A first-team all-state selection by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association after leading the state with 103 points.
G-R junior forward Kyleah Dugan was a second-team representative as well for the Rebels (12-6), who advanced to within one game of the program's first-ever state tournament berth.
Marshalltown senior forward Lexi Vaughn was named to the 3A honorable mention squad after leading the Bobcats to a 9-7 campaign and the regional semifinals.
Adair finished the season with 44 goals and 15 assists, leading the Rebels in both categories. Her 103 points led the entire state while her goal-scoring total was second in all classes to Union Community freshman Courtney Powell (45).
Dugan totaled 18 goals and 14 assists for Gladbrook-Reinbeck. She ranked seventh in 1A and tied for 15th in all classes with her 14 assists. Her 50 points was 15th-best in 1A.
Vaughn, who has signed with Iowa Central Community College for the fall, led Marshalltown with 13 goals in 16 games. She ranked 16th in 3A with her goal-scoring tally.
