A Marshalltown man faces four years in prison for allegedly stabbing a man downtown.
Ivan Carrillo-Robles, 28, is charged with stabbing a man in the leg March 28 on the 100 block of North First Street and will be held in the state prison for the incident.
After the stabbing, the victim was sent to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Carrillo-Robles will serve two consecutive years for aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon.
He is also charged with probation violations including willful injury causing serious injury and going armed with intent.
He will serve the probation violation charges concurrently with the other charges.
