Panthers’ Price stepping down

CEDAR FALLS University of Northern Iowa head women’s soccer coach James Price will step down from his position at the conclusion of the 2015 season.

Price has led the program since 2009, posting 33 victories in six seasons and leading the Panthers to three appearances in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. UNI played host to its first MVC Tournament game in the program’s history in 2012.

“I have enjoyed my time at UNI immensely and would like to thank all the student-athletes and staff that have contributed to the growth of the UNI soccer program,” Price said. “I’m looking forward to a new challenge, one which will enable me to continue with my commitment to help grow the sport of soccer in the Cedar Valley.”
