Fleming transferring from Iowa to Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Chattanooga has added Iowa transfer Andrew Fleming to its roster.

The Mocs announced Fleming’s addition Tuesday in a university release. Fleming will sit out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules before becoming eligible to play for his new team in 2017-18.

Fleming played 11 games for Iowa as a 6-foot-5 freshman this past season and averaged 2.2 points in 7.3 minutes. Iowa announced March 31 that Fleming had been granted a release to transfer.

Fleming played at Ensworth Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, and Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, before coming to Iowa.
