Mustang softball suffers one-run loss

CONRAD – The East Marshall softball team suffered a 6-5 loss to BCLUW?on Tuesday night, 6-5.

Kodie Hoskey went to the mound, giving up four hits, two walks and striking out nine. Bobbi Amendt had a home run in the fifth inning to help lead the Mustangs’ (6-7, 1-3 NICL West) offense.

Maria Rasmusson was 3-for-4 from the plate and Madison Farrington had two hits. Head coach Jary Hoskey said the biggest hit of the night came from Shae Fetters, a triple to put the Mustangs up 4-3 in the top of the seventh. East Marshall heads to Gilbert tonight and South Hardin on Thursday night.
