Brown departs from Drake Relays
DES MOINES Drake Relays Director Brian Brown and his wife Natasha Kaiser-Brown are leaving their posts in Des Moines to continue their professional careers at the University of Missouri.
Brown, who spent 11 years as the Drake Relays Director, will be the Assistant Athletic Director at Missouri of Mizzou Made, within the Tigers’ athletic department. Kasier-Brown, who was the women’s track and field head coach for the Bulldogs for the past 15 years, will assume the role as the Tigers’ associate head track and field coach.
She graduated with her husband at Missouri and is one of the more decorated athletes to come out of the university, earning an Olympic silver medal in the 1992 Olympic Games.
Kasier-Brown is also a former assistant coach for the Tigers’ track and field program.
“I am grateful to Drake University and Sandy Hatfield Clubb for trusting me to be a member of her administrative team and to lead such a historic event,” Brown said. “The decision to accept this new opportunity came after much prayer with my family, and I believe it provides a new avenue for me to make a positive impact on the lives of others.”
Drake will begin searching nationally for both the open positions.
