Jamir Coleman canned 14 more points off the bench and Marshalltown High School graduate Aaron Hauser added 10 more points for the Tigers.

MCC shot 49.2 percent from the field against the Bobcats, and held Bryant & Stratton to 39.4 percent from the floor.

Thiam went on to post a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds and bench player Floyd Preito led the Tigers against Iowa Central CC with a career-high 21 points while making 3-of-7 3-pointers.

The Tigers led 46-39 at halftime and continued pushing the pace, to earn a 76-56 win against the Tritons (6-8). MCC had its best shooting night of the weekend with a 52.2 percent clip from the floor, and out-rebounded the Tritons 41-38.

The third-place honor comes on the following night the Tigers started off slow against Don Bosco prep. MCC was down 41-28 at halftime, before coming back to lose 76-71. The largest stat in the initial loss was MCC turning the ball over 18 times.
