Former UNI QB Bailey signs with NFL’s Ravens

Former Northern Iowa quarterback Aaron Bailey has signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens.

Bailey was one of three undrafted rookies to sign with the Ravens, and will be sought to transform from the quarterback role to more of a wide receiver.

Bailey rushed for 1,760 yards and threw for 2,538 in his two seasons with the Panthers. He scored 25 touchdowns in the process after transferring from Illinois in 2015.

He is ranked in the top-20 all-time in school history in career rushing yards and tied for eighth in career rushing scores.

He’s one of two Panthers who have now signed as free agents this postseason. Karter Schult signed with the Cleveland Browns in April.
