SPORTS SHORTS: South Hardin downed by Cowgirls

ELDORA — The South Hardin girls’ basketball team was sent to 0-2 with a 50-35 loss to Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on Tuesday night.

The host Tigers were unable to score more than nine points in any single quarter for the second time in as many games.

Kiera Anderson led South Hardin with 12 points, while Chloe Webb and Danae Nelson added nine points apiece. Nelson led the Tigers with eight rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots.
