Cyclone women surge past Kansas
LAWRENCE, Kan. — Emily Durr poured in a career-high 27 points and Bridget Carleton became Iowa State’s all-time single-season conference scoring leader as the Cyclone women’s basketball team bounced Kansas 65-56 in Tuesday’s Big 12 clash.
Carleton finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while moving past Lindsey Wilson’s 2003 record, running her Big 12 scoring total to 347 points this season.
Adriana Camber added four 3-pointers for 12 points for Iowa State (13-16, 7-11).
Christalah Lyons led Kansas (12-17, 3-15) with 16 points and Tyler Johnson had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
