Ben Juchems is celebrating his 90th birthday on Sept. 6.

Ben moved to Grundy County from Hardin County in 1960. He raised his family and was involved in the community for more than 50 years. He belongs to the Eastern Stars, is a Mason, was involved with the Lions Club and a very active member of the Kiwanis. He was an active participant in the building of Dream World Playground at the elementary school in Conrad and was also involved with the building committees with the First Presbyterian Church of Conrad and the Community Church in Union.

Join family and friends at an open house in his honor from 2-4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Oak Estates, 110 S. Alice St, Conrad. Best wishes are all that are needed. For those who cannot attend, a card would be appreciated.
