Heckman — 60th

Feb. 16 is the day that Paul and Beverly Heckman will be married for 60 years. Paul and Beverly (Preston) got married in 1956 at Fort Des Moines. Their witnesses were Don and MaryLou Fleming from Zearing.

They have lived all of their married life in Marshalltown and they are very well known. Paul retired from Fisher Controls in 1986 and he is also an Army Reserve retiree after 39 years of duty. Beverly kept the home fires burning and she was very successful at being a loving wife and mother.

They are longtime members of First United Church of Christ and they are both actively involved in several organizations including American Legion and Auxiliary, Masonic Lodge and Kiwanis Club to name a few.

They are the parents of daughter Diane (Ric) Thomas, of Imperial, Mo., and son David (Becky), of Montour; two grandchildren Amy Thomas, of Imperial, Mo., and Logan (Brittany) Heckman, of Travis Air Force Base, Calif., and one great grandson Zachary Heckman.

Their children are requesting a card shower to help them celebrate 60 years and to show them how much they are loved by so many people.

Please send cards to 103 Bohen St., Marshalltown, Iowa, 50158
