David and Connie Wendel (Krampe), of Rhodes, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on June 25. They were married June 26, 1976, in Baxter. They have three children: Lisa (Pete) Peterson, of Rhodes, Aaron (Lacey) Wendel, of Van Cleve, and Joel (Sandra) Wendel, of Bondurant, and seven grandchildren: Paityn, Landrey and Presley Peterson; Gage, Drew and Samantha Wendel and Gracie Forney.
