On May 18-20, the Kiwanis PM will hold the largest garage sale ever in Marshall County. Since its inception nearly 17 years ago the Kiwanis PM Garage sale has grown from a small sale at Kiwanis Park to completely filling the Activities Building at the County Fair Grounds. Since that time Kiwanis PM has donated the proceeds of more than $38,000 to the children of Marshalltown.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to children’s activities in Marshall County in the year ahead. Your patronage will truly help in this regard. Not only will your attendance provide you with many usable items it will also help area children.

Gifts in the past have been to Child Abuse Prevention, Read By Third, Camp OK, The Marshalltown Police Activities Day at the YMCA and the Children’s Library for books and supplies. In addition Kiwanis PM has donated funds to purchase musical instruments for children’s use in the Marshalltown School District, playground equipment for the Westend Park, winter clothing and school supplies for Woodbury School and Central Iowa Art Association for after school art.
