Steamboat Rock Library receives donation from Hardin Women Who Care

ELDORA — 100+ Women Who Care Hardin County recently presented a check in the amount of $7,300 to the Steamboat Rock Library to support the expansion and renovation of the library.

“The library’s goal is to maintain quality services, resources and learning opportunities through a variety of mediums to satisfy the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs and interests of our community,” said Sandy Trampe, Library Board president and 100+ Women Who Care member. “This gift from 100+ Women Who Care is greatly appreciated and will help to further carry out the goals of the library.”

100+ Women Who Care is a group of Hardin County women who meet three times a year to make an immediate, direct and positive impact on charities within Hardin County with their collective donations. The next impact meeting of 100+ Women Who Care is June 19 at the Pine Lake Country Club in Eldora at 5:30 p.m. All women in Hardin County are invited to join.
