P.E.O. Chapter LT met June 19 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Jana Latham served as hostess. Co-Hostesses were Mary Baker and Joan Heddens.

The meeting was opened in due form by President Gina Ruddock with 24 members answering roll call.

Ruddock, the chapter’s state convention delegate, gave an interesting program about State Convention. She presented a summary of P.E.O. Scholarships and Financial Report. She encouraged the chapter to be aware of girls we know who might be eligible for the scholarships.

Amy Stahlin reported on P.E.O. Scholar Awards. Marilyn Dodd reported on Cottey College.

The July 17 meeting will be at l p.m. at GrimesFarm and Conservation Center. Mike Stegmann will give us a “Tour of New Play Scape.” Hostess will be Stahlin. The tea committee is Stahlin and Lenora Brown.
