Kerry and Tami Huck, of Marshalltown, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Ashley Nichole, to Erik Hamilton Hardt, son of Brad and Nancy Janssen, of West Des Moines, and Evan Hardt, of Des Moines.

Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Marshalltown High School. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Ashley received her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in 2011. She currently resides in Grimes and works for Marshalltown Company as their In-House Counsel.

Erik graduated from Valley High School, West Des Moines in 2004. He is a Sergeant in the Iowa National Guard, and is employed as operation and sales manager for Janssen Pest Control in West Des Moines.

The couple plans to be married on May 31 at the Evangelical Free Church in Johnston.
