Dennis and Kathy Beane, of Marshalltown, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Melody Elizabeth, to Blane William Anderson, son of Chad and Tammy Anderson, of Garwin.

Melody is a 2012 graduate of GMG High School, a 2014 Bachelor of Arts graduate of Marshalltown Community College, a current student at Buena Vista University and working at Bright Horizons Iowa State University Child Care Center.

Blane is a 2012 graduate of GMG currently working on his BA at MCC while continuing an internship with McCown Gordon, contractor’s for the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center construction on its new facility.

A wedding ceremony and reception is being planned on Nov. 1 at Pilgrim Heights Camp & Retreat Center near Montour.
