The parents of Susan Suyun Hu and Ryan Roger Rathje are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding on Sept. 3.
Su is a graduate of Mission Viejo High School, the University of California, Los Angeles with a double major in Business Economics and Political Science, Loyola Law School with a Juris Doctor and Georgetown University Law Center with a Legal Letter Master in Taxation and Employee Benefits Certificate.
Ryan is a graduate of Marshalltown High School and Iowa State University with a major in Computer Engineering and a dual Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Information Assurance.
Su and Ryan work and live in the Washington, D.C. area. Su currently works for Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton as a Corporate Tax Attorney and Ryan works for the Department of State as an Information Management Technical Specialist.
Parents of the couple are Jason and Cindy Hu, of Mission Viejo, Calif., Madlyn Rathje, of Marshalltown, and Larry (Vera) Rathje, of Marshalltown.
