Jason and Valerie Paper, of Conrad, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Ambler to Jeremy Annis, son of Juli and Dennis Hyland, of Carver, Minn., and Jamie Annis, of Cedar Rapids.

Brittany is a high school graduate of BCLUW in Conrad and a graduate of Kirkwood Community College. She is a dental hygienist working at Bondurant Family Dentistry.

Jeremy is a high school graduate of Vinton-Shellsburg and a graduate of Kirkwood Community College. He works as a construction consultant for Tradesmen International in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. He also works as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Jefferson-Monroe Fire Department.

A Sept. 19 wedding is planned at Bessie’s Barn in Centerville. The couple will reside in Des Moines.
