James and Alexis Schmidt, of Fort Dodge, are the parents of a son, Hunter Remington Schmidt, born on May 24 weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Welcoming Hunter home is big brother Wade Schmidt. Grandparents are: Matthew and Kari Hermanson, of Fort Dodge; Wendy Sanchez, of Puerto Penasco, Mexico; Warren and Karla Schmidt, of Marshalltown. Great grandparents are: Peter and Janet Hermanson, of Story City; Doug and Lynn Pederson, of Moses Lake, Wash.; and Charles and Linda Coulter, of Aledo, Ill.
