UPH – Marshalltown begins offering Urology services

MARSHALLTOWN – UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown will begin offering Urology services every Thursday of the month starting Nov. 30. UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown Urology is located on the third floor of the clinic building at 405 E. Main St., Marshalltown.

Four providers will be providing Urology services to the community including Drs. Daniel Lee, Eric Andresen and Eric Askeland as well as certified Physician Assistant Michelle Nepple.

“We are extremely excited to announce UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown is expanding our specialty coverage and bringing in urology specialists,” said Dustin Wright, president, UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown. “One of our initial goals is to enhance the quality care within the community but more importantly, to bring healthcare services back to Marshalltown so our patients do not have to travel outside of Marshalltown to get the care they need. We’ve brought orthopedic care back to Marshalltown and now we are announcing urology services.”

Lee completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin – School of Medicine, his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and completed a fellowship at the Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. He is also certified through the American Board of Urology.

Andresen and Askeland both completed medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Michelle Nepple, PA, is a graduate from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
