Names & Notes

Farmers Savings Bank President Jerrod Leffler announced that Janelle A. Carter and Dr. David J. Clark have joined the Board of Farmers Savings Bank in Marshalltown.

Carter is former industrial engineer and a long-time community volunteer. She is currently vice president of the Marshalltown Community School District school board. She is a current member of the Friends of the Library Board and the Central Iowa Art Association. Carter is married to Joe Carter and they have three adult children.

Clark is also a familiar face and name in the Marshalltown community; he has been a local dentist for 35 years and is a former “neighbor” of FSB having moved his practice from next door on Main Street to its current location on West Southridge Road. Clark is married to Valerie and they have two adult daughters.

Leffler said, “We are so pleased to have two such very high-quality, community-focused individuals to join our current board of directors. Both fit perfectly with the FSB philosophy of providing local leadership and local expertise.”
