• William Thomas Burns made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-second offense charge, a striking unattended vehicle charge, a driving under suspension charge, a failure to use headlamps when required charge and a unsafe backing on a highway charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 14. Burns is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted within 60 days to the court.

• Brady Black made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with two counts of probation violation and a warrant for driving under suspension. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. A rocket docket pre-trial conference is scheduled for the driving under suspension charge at 9 a.m. on July 28 in Magistrate Court. Black was released on his promise to appear on the driving under suspension, but is being held without bond on the probation violations.

• Tori Lynee Sprague made an initial appearance on a warrant charging her with pre-trial violation and a warrant charging her with failure to appear for an arraignment hearing. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled at 1 p.m. on July 11. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

• Eugene Ossai made an initial appearance on a operation without registration charge and a speeding charge. Ossai pleaded guilty to the registration charge and the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $132.50, due in 30 days. He pleaded not guilty on the speeding charge and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9 a.m. on July 19 in Magistrate Court.

• A 16-year-old male made an initial appearance on a violation of a minors permit charge and a minor using tobacco charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the permit charge is $30 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $100.50, due within 30 days.

• A 16-year-old female made an initial appearance on a violation of a minors permit. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $30 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $100.50, due in 30 days.

• A 14-year-old male made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195, due within 30 days.

• A 17-year-old male made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195, due within 30 days.
