• Desiree Leah Carmer made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The District Associate Court will schedule the probation revocation hearing. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

• Bruce York made an initial appearance on three counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Jeff Hazen will continue as counsel. The contempt of court hearing is set at 9 a.m. on Nov. 21. York is being held without bond. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Steven Ray Ralls made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28. Ralls is released on his promise to appear.

• Joleen Patricia Quigley made an initial appearance on a keeping a premises or vehicle for the purposes of using or selling drugs charge, a possession of methamphetamine charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28. Quigley is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Alexandrea Susan Evone Curry made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge, a possession of marijuana-second offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28. Curry is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Andrew Dennis made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28. Dennis is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Victor Eugene Puckett made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge, a possession of marijuana charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28. Puckett is released on his promise to appear. The contempt of court hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 19 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jessica Rae Stanton made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and two counts of a probation violation charge. Marshon Dubbert will continue as counsel. The contempt of court hearing and the probation revocation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Amanda Sue Cuellar made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 9, 2019, in Magistrate Court. Cuellar is released on her promise to appear.

• Shane L. Charlton made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Charlton pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75, due by Dec. 31.

• Andrea Pearl Murillo made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2019, in Magistrate Court.

• Brittany Lynn Gould, of Garwin, made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2019, in Magistrate Court.

• Kevin Jay O’Donnell made an initial appearance on an operation with registration charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50, due by Dec. 31.
