• On Saturday, a case of criminal mischief resulting in damage valued between $1,000 – $10,000 was reported in the 400 block of East State Street.

• On Sunday, a theft from a building was reported in the 10 block of North Center Street.

Citations

• On Saturday, Angel Marie Pena, 34, was cited for no insurance-accident and failure to yield upon a left turn.

• On Saturday, Savvanah Sara Ponce, 29, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only and no insurance-accident.

• On Sunday, Armando Garcia, 21, was cited for speeding.

Arrests

• On Friday, Javier Valencia, 23, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order and on a warrant.

• On Friday, Zane Dolash, 38, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Jesus Gonzalez, 18, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Friday, Jessica Stanton, 45, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Saturday, Agnassi Johnson, 30, was arrested for driving while license is denied, cancelled, revoked or suspended, failure to maintain control, no insurance-accident, leaving the scene of an accident, open container, striking fixtures, driving while license is denied or revoked and on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Angel Pena, 34, was arrested for operating while under the influence-second offense, no valid driver’s license, leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only and child endangerment-no injury.

• On Saturday, Edward Cheney, 29, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine-first offense and on a warrant from another county.

• On Saturday, Joel Vargas Rosas, 19, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Saturday, Llewellyn Roberts, 55, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Saturday, Glenda Roberts, 42, was arrested on a warrant from another county.

• On Sunday, Armando Garcia, 21, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Sunday, Ivan Cordova, 18, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

Accidents

• On Sunday, a car driven by Savvanah Sara Ponce, 29, of Marshalltown, was eastbound on West Lincoln Street when it struck a legally parked Ford Focus and exited the scene without making contact with the owner. No injuries were reported. Ponce was cited for no insurance-accident and leaving the scene-failure to provide aid or information. Damage to the Ponce car was estimated at $2,500 while the Ford Focus received an estimated $2,000 in damage.

• On Sunday, a car driven by Cynthia Marilyn Ormston, 79, of Marshalltown, was exiting a parking spot at the Hy-Vee Drugstore when the driver turned too sharply and sideswiped a pickup parked next to her and then left the scene. No injuries were reported. Ormston reported the incident to the Marshalltown Police Department the next day and sustained an estimated $1,700 in damage to her car. The pickup has not contacted the police, but appeared to have no damage.

• On Friday, , Ryan Schmidt, 33, was arrested for possession of marijuana-second offense.

• On Friday, Dylan Millard, 22, was arrested on a warrant charging him with voluntary absence from custody.

• On Friday, Joanna Hulsey, 36, was arrested on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.

• On Saturday, Andrew Schooley, 26, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of air or blood.

• On Saturday, Randall Murrieta, 33, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of marijuana-first offense.
