Court — Monday

• Thomas Eugene Eckert made an initial appearance on a providing false identification information charge. Eckert pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Yuri Sanchez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Sanchez pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 24 in Magistrate Court.

• Dietta Kay Little made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident charge and a no insurance charge. Little pleaded guilty to the leaving the scene charge and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. Little provided proof of insurance and the charge was dropped with court costs of $60 assessed. Both payments are due within 30 days.

• Sheena Marie Spencer failed to appear for an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty by default. The fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Chad Hein made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in Magistrate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Martin Gonzalez made an initial appearance on an animal neglect charge. Gonzalez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Jonathan Ryan Fugate made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a sentencing hearing charge. Jeffrey Hazen will continue as counsel. The sentencing hearing will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.
