• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an unauthorized burning at 620 Union St., a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 122 W. Main St. and 11 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 109 S. Second St., 1208 E. State St., 3302 S. Center St., 610 E. Church St., 1007 S. 12th Ave., 514 E. Olive St., 511 N. 12th Ave., 515 E. Olive St., 1301 Summit St., 113 Bohen St. and 401 Melody Lane.

April 13

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an unauthorized burning at 1501 Summit St., a gas leak at 107 1/2 W. Grant St., a cooking fire confined to container at 1501 Marion St. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 708 Jackson St., 107 1/2 W. Grant St., 710 W. Main St. and 1211 W. State St.

April 12

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 505 W. South St., two no incidents found upon arrival at dispatched address at 24 E. Main St. and 806 E. High St. and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 304 Nicholas Drive, 611 E. South St., 508 S. Sixth St., 1716 S. Fourth St., 710 Wood St., 3108 S. Center St. and 507 N. Fourth St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 612 E. Linn St., 113 N. First St. and 1001 W. Iowa Ave.

April 10

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an oil or combustible liquid spill at 1701 Iowa Ave. E, a no incident found upon arrival at dispatched address at 1500 Lincoln Towers Circle and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 514 E. Olive St. and 1 W. Grant St.

April 9

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 12 Santa Barbara Drive, 104 E. Webster St., 1602 S. Second Ave., 802 S. Center St., 1208 E. State St. and 2315 Campbell Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an authorized, controlled burning at 305 E. South St., a brush or brush and grass mixture fire at 10th Avenue and Turner Street and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 924 N. Fifth Ave., 207 W. Linn St. and 512 Carson Drive.
