Arrests

• On Friday, Kylinn Silvest, 41, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.

• On Thursday, Kristina Marie Campbell, 23, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Kathleen Amber Dolan, 27, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Dylan Claassen, 24, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft-fifth degree.

• On Thursday, Marco Blair, 49, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.

Accidents

• On Saturday, a pickup driven by Tommy Wayne Dreesman, 41, of Tama, was eastbound on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway resulting in damage to the driver’s side headlight, front fender and driver’s door. Damage to the Dreesman pickup was estimated at $1,500.

• On Monday, a pickup driven by Matthew Chris Rasmusson, 46, of Marshalltown, was eastbound on 190th Street when it struck a deer that ran onto the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rasmusson pickup was estimated at $4,000.

Accidents

• On Thursday, a pickup driven by Brent Ridder, 57, of Ackley, was eastbound on Highway 57 attempting to pass a semi driven by Russell Ellingson, 50, of Ackley, when the semi initiated a left turn and collided with the Ridder pickup causing it to roll. Ridder was extricated from his pickup and transported to Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Damage to the Ridder pickup was estimated at $5,000 while the Ellingson semi received an estimated $2,000 in damage. This accident remains under investigation.

• On Wednesday, a pickup driven by Rosalin Moberg, 61, of Conrad, was eastbound on D-53 approaching Highway 14 when it went past the stop sign and into the path of a vehicle driven by Linda Case, 72, of Janesville, resulting in a collision. Case went to a private medical facility for minor injuries. Damage to the Case vehicle was estimated at $8,000 while the Moberg pickup received an estimated $4,000 in damage. This accident remains under investigation.

April 21

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 800 E. State St., two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 105 E. Webster St. and 1703 S. Fourth St., three unauthorized burnings at: 806 Bromley St., 402 N. Second St. and 310 NewCastle Road and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 207 NewCastle Road, 7 N. 17th St., 520 N. Second St. and 1005 W. Lincoln Way.

April 20

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 906 S. First Ave., a smoke or odor removal at 702 E. Main St., two unauthorized burnings at 408 N. Fourth Ave. and 105 W. Webster St. and nine medical assists with the EMS crew to: 408 S. Ninth St., 608 N. Second Ave., 2316 Knollway Drive, 712 Bromley St., 8 S. Fifth Ave., 207 W. Ingledue St., 407 N. Fourth Ave., 1401 S. 17th Ave. and 135 W. Main St.

April 19

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 1301 S. Sixth St., an unauthorized burning at 1301 S. Sixth St. and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 802 S. Center St., 207 N. 16th St., 1702 S. 17th Ave., 1010 Finkle Ave., 1619 S. 12th St. and 206 Nicholas Drive.

April 18

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 2300 Marshalltown Blvd., a central station malicious false alarm at 101 NewCastle Road, two unauthorized burnings at 701 E. Main St. and 102 S. Fifth Ave. and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 11 S. 16th St. and 1619 S. 12th St.

April 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 704 N. Fourth Ave., 514 E. Olive St. and 205 E. State St.

April 16

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a passenger vehicle fire at 507 W. Boone St., two unauthorized burnings at 701 E. Main St. and 107 E. Lincoln St. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 214 Edgeland Drive, 514 E. Olive St., 915 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd., 609 S. Seventh Ave. and 514 N. 14th Ave.

April 15

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a fire at 107 E. Southridge Road, a vehicle accident with general cleanup at South Center Street and Iowa Avenue East and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 810 N. Fifth Ave., 1211 W. State St., 814 N. Fifth Ave., 412 N. Second Ave., 2510 S. Sixth St. and 1606 E. Nevada St.
