Aug. 12

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to no incident found upon arrival at dispatched address at 1600 S. Fifth St., an unintentional transmission of alarm at 125 S. 11th St., a dispatched/cancelled en route to 921 N. Third Ave. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1311 W. Boone St., 209 N. Fifth Ave., 32 E. Main St. and 211 W. Nevada St.

Aug. 13

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an unauthorized burning at 1610 S. Second St. and South First Street, a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at 11 N. First Ave. and eight medical assists with the EMS crew to: 203 N. 14th St., 522 N. Second St., 115 Iowa Ave. West, 504 Sharon Ave., 3202 S. 12th St., 1016 S. Third Ave., 1801 W. Main St. and 4 N. 12th Ave.

Aug. 14

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation due to a malfunction at 1301 Summit St., two unauthorized burnings at 514 N. Center St. and 101 S. Sixth St. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1301 Rolling Meadows Road, 3120 S. Second St., 201 Nicholas Drive and 112 N. First St.

Aug. 15

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to one dispatched/cancelled en route to 202 N. Second Ave. and nine medical assists with the EMS crew to: 504 N. Seventh Ave., 704 N. Center St., 1001 Iowa Ave. West, 504 Sharon Ave., 206 Nicholas Drive, 1407 W. Linn St., 306 N. Second St., 802 S. Center St., 603 S. Seventh Ave. and 1609 Marion St.

Aug. 16

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a passenger vehicle fire at East Main Street and South 18th Avenue, two building fires at 713 W. Madison St. and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 314 Sharon Ave. and 706 W. Main St.

Aug. 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to four unauthorized burnings at: 307 N. Fifth Ave., 913 S. Ninth Ave., 2205 Bittersweet Road and 805 E. State St. and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 402 W. Madison St., 605 N. First Ave., 303 Friendly Drive, 1211 W. State St., 504 N. Seventh Ave., 408 S. Ninth St. and 2305 S. Eighth St.

Aug. 18

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two medical assists with the EMS crew to 919 Jackson St. and 609 Robert Terrace.
