• Jerome Lee Watson made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a operation without registration charge. Watson pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 30 in Magistrate Court.
• Xander Joe Alvarez made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Alvarez pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 30 in Magistrate Court.
• Chan Kep made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on a disorderly conduct charge. Kep pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.
• Cung Lian made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on a disorderly conduct charge. Lian pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.
• Bawi Cung Thawng made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on a disorderly conduct charge. Thawng pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.
• Charlie Moon made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on an operating while under the influence charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4. Moon is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
• Manuel Alejandro Rivera made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a leaving the scene of an accident charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Rivera pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the leaving the scene charge is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the no driver’s license charge is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. All payments are due within 30 days.
• Teryn Darnell Buckley made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4. Buckley is released on his promise to appear.
• Delilah Elaine Mauskemo made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-second offense charge, a driving under suspension charge, a stopping on a highway charge and an open container charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4. Mauskemo is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Josefina Verdinez made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a junk vehicles charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in Magistrate Court.
• Miguel Reyes Jr. failed to make an appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. The court found Reyes guilty by default and the fines were $250 on each charge, $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 on each charge, due within 30 days.
