Arrests

• On Friday, Blaze Ryan Krough, 20, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Gavin Cagle, 18, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, operating while under the influence-first offense and possession of marijuana-first offense.

Oct. 20

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 109 W. State St., 302 Bromley St., 122 W. Main St., 102 S. Seventh Ave., 915 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd. and 709 NewCastle Road.

Oct. 19

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 1400 Marshalltown Blvd. and 1303 S. Second Ave. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 209 N. 12th Ave., 2022 Elmcrest Drive and 1 Palmer St.

Oct. 18

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke scare at 500 Plaza Heights Road, an unauthorized burning at 1802 S. Seventh Ave. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1501 E. Nevada St., 2510 S. Sixth St., 2709 Arnold Drive, 1619 S. 12th St. and 206 W. Ferner St.

Oct. 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident, general cleanup at East Olive Street and Bobcat Boulevard, two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 1301 Summit St. and 2401 S. Second St. and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2709 Arnold Drive, 520 N. Second St., 403 N. Center St., 109 1/2 N. Fourth St., 4 N. 16th St. and 5 N. Eighth St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to East Church Street and North Third Avenue and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 2510 S. Sixth St. and 2709 Arnold Drive.

Oct. 15

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke scare at 107 E. Southridge Road, a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 1301 Summit St., a smoke detector activation-unintentional-no fire at 612 E. Linn St., a dispatched/cancelled en route to East Merle Hibbs Boulevard and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 202 N. Second Ave., 704 S. Ninth Ave., 206 Nicholas Drive, 501 Dennis Drive, 1503 Summit St. and 115 Thunderbird Drive.

Oct. 14

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 2000 Marshalltown Blvd. and 412 N. Third Ave., three alarm system activations due to malfunctions at: 1602 S. Second Ave., 125 S. 11th St. and 1602 S. Second Ave. and eight medical assists with the EMS crew to: 608 W. State St., 404 Friendly Drive, 5 S. Fifth St., 118 N. Center St., 122 W. Main St., 3108 S. Center St., 1303 S. Third Ave. and 514 E. Olive St.
